Cliff Donenfeld is a lifelong Republican. By age 25 (after a few years as an executive at Calvin Klein Industries and having a midsize family apparel manufacturing business which employed about 400 people decimated by NAFTA and unions), Cliff became VP of the publicly held company Cliff Engle, producer of sports apparel for all NFL, NBA, NHL and MLB and college teams. Most notable were the sweaters worn by Mike Ditka and Bill Parcels during their winning seasons and Superbowl appearances.

Cliff later became the G.M of the Restaurants at Trump Tower which led to personal involvement with Donald Trump and eventually partnerships in a series of nightclubs and restaurants throughout Manhattan.

In Manhattan, Cliff was on the Board of Big Brothers and Sisters of NYC . As a lifelong Republican Cliff developed personal relationships with the Republican Mayor and Senator at the time who were so respondent to their constituents. Cliff also had an insiders knowledge of the former Governor on the other side of the aisle, who blocked intelligent legislation which provided safety to the community. That Governor chose greed and reckless spending as a long term “do nothing Democrat”.

While in Boston, Cliff opened several businesses including an art gallery and purchased a group of UPS stores which he built into the largest franchise group of its’ kind in the country. Amongst the groups holdings was the business center and shipping department for the Copley Marriott in Boston.

After a successful sale of that business, Cliff was determined to head South. Cliff did leave a community legacy in Boston that he also brought to Collier County.  “The Real Santa” program he began in conjunction with The United States Postal Service continues here. As a result of Cliff’s dog park initiative which he lead in Boston, the BackBay/Copley neighborhoods now have dog parks thanks to his efforts which gave the area new levels of safety and community that remain today!

An initial stay at The Marco Island Marriott led him to open up the BIZXPRESS business and shipping center on Marco Island and an art gallery off Fifth Avenue in Olde Naples in 2004.

In 2006 Cliff received his Real Estate license and joined Coldwell Banker where he started in 2006 and is currently Associate Broker. Cliff became well known as a fixture of the Fifth avenue real estate community and for creating, co-producing and appearing in a local television show.

Shortly after arriving here almost 16 years ago, he became active in a variety of volunteer efforts including the local Republican Party. A few years ago, a friend and mentor from Church who shared Cliff’s political views, Governor Rick Scott encouraged Cliff to run for office. Shortly after that, Cliff ran for Vice Chairman of The Republican County and won with about 70% of the vote.

Let everyone know that “This District is NOT for sale!”
